Calculation of raglan sleeves

The width of most collars should be reduced by about 4 cm. Some front collars are larger than back collars, and the sleeve length is the ordinary sleeve length plus shoulder width, minus the collar width /2/ horizontal density * straight density.

Of course, raglan sleeves are different. Take the conventional raglan sleeves with a semi-high collar as an example: firstly, a set of dimensions are given, namely, the sleeve length is 58cm, the sleeve length is 64cm (the collar edge), the chest width is 45cm, the collar width is 16cm (the revised process size), the front collar depth is 8cm, and the back collar depth is 2cm (for simplicity, the waist is not closed). The detailed dimensions of other parts are obtained by graphic method combined with empirical method.

Raglan sleeve?

The armhole of the raglan sleeve is deep, the armhole is always inserted into the periphery, and the shoulder is even covered by the sleeve, forming a flowing structural line and a loose and free style. The armhole is deep, which is more suitable for free and wide clothing. The patchwork of raglan sleeves can be changed according to the modeling needs, and the armholes can be decorated with bottom edges and lace.
