Synopsis

The daughter of a Hong Kong gangster, Ling (played by Shu Qi), has to take refuge in South Korea because of the fight between the gangs, and stays with her father's friend's henchman, Ki Chul (played by Lee Fan Soo).

Ki Chul, the number three of the Korean Orientalist gangster organization, is quite good at Chinese language because he has smuggled a lot of Chinese products. Ki Chul doesn't know about Ling's flashy background and is a bit dismissive of the mission to protect her.

Although Ki Chul knows some Chinese, he's far from conversational, so Ki Chul enlists Yeon Hee (Hyun Young), a woman from Yanbian, China, to be his interpreter. The lovely Yeon-hee is shocked by the image of gang members when she first arrives at Ki Chul's house, but Yeon-hee quickly adapts to the life.

Despite the big and small things that happen every day, it's a very peaceful and comfortable life for Ling. Finally one day the Hong Kong side sends assassins to kill Ling, but Ling is no softy and reveals her true strength.
