1. Farewell My Concubine (concubine)
Farewell My Concubine is one of the most important operas in Beijing Opera. The original name of this drama is Chu-Han Controversy, which is based on the Kunqu Opera "Thousand Golden Records" and "Historical Records and Biography of Xiang Yu". Total * * * four books. In 1918, it was premiered in Beijing by Yang Xiaolou and Shang Xiaoyun. On February 15th, 1922, Yang Xiaolou cooperated with Mei Lanfang. 2. Drunkenness of the Imperial concubine (Yang Yuhuan)
Drunkenness of the Imperial concubine, also known as Baihua Pavilion, originated from the Peking Opera drama Drunken Yang Fei, a local drama in Qianlong, which was carefully carved, processed and embellished by the Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang with all his life's efforts, and is one of the classic representative plays of Mei School. This play mainly describes Yang Yuhuan's mentality of enjoying his love for the spring after being drunk, and highlights Yang Yuhuan's tenderness for the emperor.
In 195s, Mei Lanfang got rid of the weeds and kept the essence, and corrected her non-artistic tendency from the aesthetic point of view, starting with the emotional changes of the characters. It is said that this drama originated from Kunqu opera, which can be seen from the structure of its lyrics, especially the opening Siping tune is a treasure of Beijing opera.
3. Cosmic Front (Zhao Yanrong)
Cosmic Front is a traditional drama of China opera, and Cosmic Front by three masters, namely Mei Lanfang (Peking Opera), Chen Suzhen (Henan Opera) and Chen Bohua (Han Opera), is also called "Cosmic Front".
Mei Lanfang said, "I admit that" Cosmic Front "is one of the plays I have sung in my life." Originally Wudan Opera. Mei Lanfang adapted the performance from the capital, and made a film, and Ou Yangyuqian adapted it, named "Liang Hongyu".
