Shangfeng Village in Daye, Hubei Province, which was called "Nine Ancient Villages and Seven Villages" in ancient times, was included in the list of traditional Chinese villages. Not many tourists come here, which just keeps the "original ecology" of the village. Upper fengcun was formed before the Yuan Dynasty with a history of 500 to 600 years. The village covers an area of 12 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the door is curved with green water and the trees are evergreen all the year round. The ancient house in the village is built on the hill. Huizhou architecture, brick and wood structure. There are carved flowers at the top and bluestone slabs at the bottom. The stone carving is complete and exquisite in workmanship. Simple and quaint style, magnificent atmosphere, highlighting the culture of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Upper fengcun is a collection of ancient houses, ancient trees, ancient temples, ancient wells, ancient tombs, ancient roads, ancient canals and other cultural landscapes. After hundreds of years of vicissitudes and natural and man-made disasters, it is well preserved.

On a sunny afternoon, I walked into Upper fengcun. Walking into an alley, the street corner is still sunny, one step away, but it becomes deep and gloomy. The trees here are bigger than you think. As soon as I entered the village entrance, I was still cheering for the big tree where two people could hug each other. Within a few steps, I met a camphor tree that needed five people to hug.

Tired of shopping, I walked along the stone road to the forest behind the village. On the narrow path, I looked up and saw green eyes. Sunlight passes through the cracks in the leaves and beats with the shaking of the leaves. The air in the mountains is fresh and mixed with the smell of grass. Walking on the path makes me feel relaxed.

If I want to find the relics left by time, I would say fengcun in Daye is the best place to go. There are ancient houses that have stood for hundreds of years, ancient trees that can only be embraced by a few people, crystal-clear ancient wells, ancient tombs and ancient temples, strung together a picture of time.
