What are traditional and non-traditional security?

Traditional security refers mainly to military, political, and diplomatic security, and therefore includes: political security, homeland security, and military security. Non-traditional security refers to economic security, cultural security, social security, scientific and technological security, information security, ecological security, resource security, and nuclear security.

The concept of security is a central concept in the theory of international relations.
