960W pixel CCD sharp 3D camera phone VS casio DC

At present, IT 168 evaluation of Android system has become a market for all mobile phone manufacturers. Sharp, which has been underperforming in the Chinese mainland market, has finally given a boost recently by launching the first naked-eye 3D Android smartphone SH8 158U, which was unveiled in China. Previously, it 168 mobile phone channel has sent the evaluation of this mobile phone to everyone at the first time. Today, Bian Xiao will show you the camera function of this mobile phone.

As we all know, Sharp mobile phones have always had good strength in taking pictures and screens. SH8 158U also carried forward Sharp's glorious tradition. This machine is equipped with a 9.6 megapixel CCD camera. 9.6 million amazing pixels can almost despise most Android phones, and CCD sensors make many people look forward to the camera function of this phone. For such a strong camera, we found a digital camera as an opponent in today's test.

▲ Strong opponent: Casio FH- 100

FH- 100 is a mid-range digital camera produced by Casio. It uses the same back-illuminated CMOS sensor as iPhone 4, and the effective pixel reaches 1065438+ million, slightly higher than Sharp SH8 158U. This camera is also equipped with a 24mm wide-angle 1X optical zoom lens, which is really a very strong opponent for our protagonist today.

Evaluation Description: The main content of today's evaluation is the image quality performance of these two machines. The contrast is mainly reflected in the proofs of four scenes: day, night, macro and flash. Take two sets of proofs for each scene. In addition to forcibly turning off the flash when shooting at night, in other proofs, both machines use the highest image quality and automatic mode. After the shooting, because the image size of Casio FH- 100 was too large, Photoshop was used to reduce the size of the photos taken by these two machines to 75% of the original size, but no post-modification was made.

The most obvious feeling in this set of proofs is that the color of Sharp SH8 158U (hereinafter referred to as Sharp) is lighter, and the color of the sky is much darker than that of Casio FH- 100 (hereinafter referred to as Casio). If you look at the big picture, you will find that the noise phenomenon of Sharp proofs is more serious. The main reason for this problem is that due to the size limitation of the mobile phone, Sharp's sensor area is small, so noise is easy to appear in the photo. However, please pay attention to the edge of the building in the lower left corner of the Casio sample in the big picture. There is obvious purple edge phenomenon, and Sharp controls it well.

Sharp's noise phenomenon in this set of proofs has been greatly improved, and the biggest difference between them is color. Perhaps due to a little difference in the automatic white balance program, Sharp's color performance is warmer and Casio's is colder. In addition, please pay attention to the details of the colored mosaic on the wall in the big picture. Casio's sharpness is slightly better than Sharp's, but the gap is not big.

Tip: CCD sensor is generally used in home digital cameras because of its high manufacturing cost. Theoretically, the image quality presented by CCD is also better. The sensors commonly used in mobile phone cameras are all low-cost CMOS, and the imaging quality is correspondingly poor. Back-illuminated CMOS sensor is a new sensor technology, which can significantly improve the shooting effect in low light conditions. The excellent photo shooting effect of iPhone 4 benefits from its back-illuminated CMOS camera.

Night shooting comparison:

In fact, to put it bluntly, the test of night scene ability is the test of high sensitivity and noise control ability. In automatic mode, both machines will automatically set ISO to 400. Although Sharp has a lot of noise, the basic details and colors of the photos can be restored quite well, which is very rare for a mobile phone. Thanks to the back-illuminated CMOS sensor, Casio's performance in this night scene is far stronger than Sharp's.

Sharp's performance in this set of proofs is much better than before. If it is not obvious noise, the direct gap between Sharp and Casio is not far. In addition to the color difference mentioned above, Sharp's picture is fleshy, and the sharpness of the photo is greatly reduced because of the influence of noise. Attention, please? Macro shooting contrast:

▲ Casio FH- 100 (click on the picture above to view a larger image)

Sharp is very satisfied with the performance of this set of macro proofs. If you don't explain it, I believe many people can't judge which one was taken by a digital camera at the first time. Sharp's proofs look more colorful because of the warmer colors. Although the details of Sharp can be found to be fleshy after zooming in, it is almost negligible to look at the small picture. Sharp's proofs even look sharper because of the light. Besides, surprisingly, the annoying noise seems to be invisible here, and Jiao Wai's performance is very delicate and soft.

The shooting environment of this group of photos is indoor incandescent lamp, in the main body of the picture? Cheese cat? In fact, Sharp's color reproduction is more accurate, and Casio's cat white part is a bit yellow. However, around the picture, Sharp appears red, while Casio's overall performance is consistent. In addition, surprisingly, in this group of photos, Sharp's noise control is obviously better than Casio's. If you look at the details of the big picture, you can see that Casio has very obvious noise, and Sharp makes the picture look much cleaner by reducing noise.

Flash shooting comparison:

▲ Casio FH- 100 (click on the picture above to view a larger image)

In the comparison of flash, Sharp and Casio began to have obvious differences, which was mainly caused by the totally unreasonable flash between them. Sharp is only equipped with LED flash, which is very common in mobile phones, while Casio is equipped with professional xenon flash, which is much higher in brightness and size than Sharp. Thanks to the more powerful flash, Casio's proofs show perfect details, while Sharp looks no different from photos under ordinary lighting conditions.

▲FH- 100 (click on the picture above to view a larger image)

The shooting environment of this set of proofs is relatively dark. Sharp's automatic shooting program extends the shutter time to 1/4 seconds, while Casio's shutter time after turning on the flash is only115 seconds. As a result, Sharp was seriously overexposed, the white mouse became a dazzling reflection, and the facial details of the little doll lost a lot. Casio, on the other hand, lost a lot of details because of the insufficient brightness of the flash, short shutter time and insufficient exposure. In the control of noise, Casio still has a serious graininess. Although Sharp is overexposed, the noise is much softer.

Summary: Sharp SH8 158U's 9.6 megapixel CCD camera has not gone far in this unfair comparison. In the final analysis, the lack of image quality is due to hardware limitations such as small sensor size and insufficient flash brightness. Of course, the author is not saying that the picture quality of this mobile phone camera is not good. In fact, the performance of SH8 158U has subverted the author's previous view that the mobile phone camera is just a toy, and it is only a matter of time before it surpasses the home digital camera in image quality. However, there is still a long way to go to replace DC with mobile phone camera in terms of ease of use. Operating feel, battery life and optical zoom are all urgent problems to be solved.
