What is push flow?
In order to be used for streaming transmission, audio and video data must be encapsulated by transmission protocols and converted into streaming data. Commonly used streaming media protocols include RTSP, RTMP, HLS, etc. The delay of RTMP transmission is usually1–3 seconds. RTMP has also become the most commonly used streaming media protocol in mobile phone live broadcast, which requires very high real-time performance. Finally, the audio and video streaming data is pushed to the network through a certain Qos algorithm and distributed through CDN.
Extended data:
RTMP (Real-time Message Protocol) is usually used for live broadcast. This protocol is a TCP-based protocol family and a network protocol designed for real-time data communication. It is mainly used for audio, video and data communication between Flash/AIR platform and streaming media/interactive server supporting RTMP protocol. The software supporting this protocol includes Adobe Media Server/Ultrant Media Server/Red 5, etc.
In the high-tech salon live broadcast, the traditional equipment was initially used to "push the stream".
The specific process is: connect the switching station, network encoder and notebook in EFP system in turn through the network cable, ensure that the IP address of the notebook computer and the address of the network encoder are in the same network segment after the connection is completed, and then adjust various "push flow parameters" of the encoder on the computer page. In order to ensure the normal "push stream", it is necessary to set the network push stream address and input the push stream address, live broadcast address, video mode, resolution, code rate and play domain name. After the setting is completed, confirm the IP address, and then measure the network speed to ensure the normal connection between the network and the network encoder. This kind of "push flow" needs too many devices, which is very troublesome after problems occur, and it takes a lot of time to check the devices one by one.
Later, the live broadcast system was changed to Livestudio system, and "push stream" was built into the software of Livestudio. The whole "push stream" process does not need additional network encoders, notebooks and other equipment, nor does it need to set IP. As long as the network is normal, the operation can be completed through networking, and the quality of "push flow" can be set according to the actual situation of the network to meet the requirements. This operation is very convenient and effectively avoids the above problems.
