How to paste couplets? What's so particular about pasting couplets?

According to the difference between "the upper part is closed and the lower part is flat", I think everyone has heard of it.

The last word is vague, generally referring to three or four tones, such as "Qing Yu in the New Year"; The last word with a flat tone is the bottom couplet, and the flat tone is usually one or two sounds, such as "FestivalNo". Changchun ". ?

So what should I do to quickly distinguish a couplet? I'll introduce you to a simple and quick method.

A sentence in the couplet: the couplet is attached to the side of the first word in the horizontal batch.

This has to start with ancient writing habits. In ancient times, people used to write from right to left. Not only write articles, memorials, letters, but also write couplets.

1. Post couplets

Look at the horizontal batch: now many people don't write in the past, and some write from left to right. So we mainly look at the horizontal connection.

From the direction facing the gate: if the horizontal couplet is a modern writing from left to right. Couplets are also left-handed and right-handed; If the couplet is written from right to left, it is also written on the right and left.

When you face a pair of pasted Spring Festival couplets, you only need to see whether the horizontal batch is written from left to right or from right to left. With the rule of one sentence, you can quickly judge the up and down links. For example, horizontal batches written from left to right.

2. No couplets are posted

Sticking couplets is very particular. The wrong posting makes people laugh, as if they don't understand culture. According to Pingping's judgment, a pair of couplets can be correctly posted in the trend of criticizing first.

? Couplet paste method: this should start from the position advocated in ancient times. In ancient China, "Left" was the dominant position. So couplets should be on the "left" side. The left side here refers to the position of the couplet when the back is facing the door. If the position of the couplet is taken as the standard, that is, when facing the frontispiece, it is the right side.

Why should we focus on the left? For example, all couplets (door couplets, column couplets and window couplets) built in the Forbidden City and Summer Palace in Beijing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties are posted on the left and right sides of the couplets. The same is true of couplets of many famous temples, places of interest, temples and Taoist temples all over the country. The tradition of focusing on "Left" has been used to this day.

3. Special circumstances

Besides Pingping, some people use antitheses extracted from poems and articles as couplets.

For example, the column of Wang Teng Pavilion in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, "Sunset and Loneliness, Autumn Water in Qi Fei * * * The sky is one color"

The positions of the upper and lower couplets are different: the last word "Lonely sunset in Qi Fei" is the first part, and the last word "Autumn water * * * sky and one color" is the second part.

This couplet is the antithesis in Wang Bo's famous Preface to Wang Tengting in Tang Dynasty. "Zhulian" was written by Mao Zedong before his death. It is speculated that Mao Zedong himself picked it from Wang Bo's masterpiece for couplet.

In a word, China's culture is profound and needs to be understood gradually. Good luck in the new year and your promotion step by step!
