What are the characteristics of folk tourism? What are the characteristics of folk tourism?
2. Retro reproduction. It is to collect, sort out, construct and reproduce the information of folk culture that has disappeared now, so that tourists can understand the past folk culture. For example, in the "Museum of the Living" in the United States, employees appear as "immigrants" who have arrived in the United States for hundreds of years, dressed in the costumes of American working people in the 16 and 17 centuries, and show tourists ancient traditional customs such as carrying water with square poles, farming with primitive farm tools, transporting by unicycle and various folk dances, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. Song Cheng in Hangzhou and Hongkong, Tang Cheng in Wuxi and Wu Culture Park also belong to this category. The advantage of this model is that it can "go back in time" and satisfy the wishes that tourists could not realize originally, but it also has the same shortcomings as the * * * model.
3. Concentrate in situ. Some minority villages or areas with rich and unique folk culture have faded in architecture, costumes and customs. Due to the development of the times, it is no longer typical, or some important activities of folk culture (such as festivals and weddings) were originally presented in a specific period, which makes tourists unable to fully understand the charm of local folk culture. Therefore, the local government or investors find a suitable place in the local area and build a theme park with the theme of local folk culture and the essence of its folk customs. For example, Miao Village and Li Sai Feng Qing Garden in central Hainan belong to this category. Its advantage is that it is convenient for tourists to fully understand the essence of local or national folk culture. Its disadvantage is that the "original" is built next to the original, which naturally compares tourists and cannot attract some tourists.
4. Natural nature. In an area with relatively rich folk culture, choose a typical village with convenient transportation to publicize to tourists, and take the villagers' natural life and production and the natural form of the village as the tourism content. Apart from the necessary infrastructure construction, there is almost no processing and transformation, such as Sanpaiyao Village in Liannan, Guangdong Province and Maoli Village in Hawaii. Its advantage is that it costs little, makes tourists feel real, communicates naturally with local residents, and even participates in the work in person. There is great freedom of activity, but the disadvantage is that it is difficult to distribute the benefits brought by tourism development to villagers fairly. After the normal production and life of villagers are disturbed, there may be conflicts or non-cooperation, so it is difficult to ensure that villagers remain warm and friendly when receiving tourists, and are not mercenary.
5. The theme will be attached. It refers to the combination of folk culture themes and tourist facilities with specific functions to form complementary effects. For example, the "net owner" of Suzhou famous garden is traditionally only open to the public during the day, so that tourists can appreciate the gardening art and cultural connotation of Jiangnan gardens, but it is not open to the public at night.
6. Short-term performance. Some specific folk culture only existed for a short time, which stimulated the short-term tourism flow. There are two main situations. First, festivals based on ethnic and folk traditions, such as Nadam Convention in Inner Mongolia, Eid al-Adha Festival of Hui people, and Torch Festival of Bai and Yi people, are not aimed at developing tourism, so they will not exist for many years, but attract a large number of tourists during festivals; Second, mobile folk art performances, such as organizing Guizhou folk performance teams to perform Songtao Miao flower drums, Tantang operas and getting angry. To show the artistic style of Hong Kong folk culture and attract many foreigners to enjoy it from afar (this is a kind of tourism behavior in itself), thus attracting tourists to Guizhou.
