Lishui, China is the hometown of photography. Who knows what photography includes?

An important part of the International Photography Festival held in Monty Youngdale on June 5438+065438+1October1July, 2006 is the Lotus Photography Exhibition from Lishui, China. Monty Youngdale Photography Festival is the largest and most important landscape and animal photography festival in Europe, which has a wide influence in the global photography industry, equivalent to the Oscar in the film industry. In recent years, as the No.1 photography town in China, Lishui has successfully held several China and international photography art festivals. This is the second time Lishui has been invited to participate in Monty Youngdale Photography Festival in France. 5438+065438+June, 2006+10, a photo of a fisherman girl, Zhang Lishui, sitting on the bow and knitting her hair appeared on the cover of the UN Geneva special issue, which made this Lishui girl become famous overnight. The United Nations Special Issue is an internal publication of the United Nations, a must-read magazine for every employee and official working in the United Nations, and enjoys a high reputation in international publications. This photo of Lishui fisherman's daughter also reminds many people at United Nations Headquarters of Lishui. Lishui, located in Zhejiang Province, is not a particularly eye-catching city, but it can participate in world-class photography competitions twice in a row, attracting many internationally renowned photographers. Why is it so influential in the international photography industry? Our "All over China" film crew made a special trip to Lishui to find out. Lishui is located in the southeastern mountainous area of Zhejiang Province, with steep mountains and vertical and horizontal water systems. This geographical environment of "nine mountains, half water and half fields" is not suitable for the growth of crops. In the farming era of growing food for a living, local people always regard it as "entering the barren land" For hundreds of years, many of them have been forced to leave their homes and make a living abroad because of their livelihood. Up to now, nearly half of the people in Lishui qingtian county still live abroad. However, this made Lishui escape the fate of over-development of agriculture, and the beautiful scenery was well preserved, with very rich natural beauty. As soon as we entered Jinyun County, Lishui City, our sight was attracted by a huge photo erected on the hillside by the roadside. This is a photo of Lishui Xiandu Natural Scenic Area. Now, it has become an important city card in Lishui. The photographer of the photo is Wu, chairman of Zhejiang Photographers Association. Under his guidance, we came to tan shan, a natural scenic spot in Xiandu, Jinyun County, and took this photo here. Since the publication of 1992, this photo has won various photography awards at home and abroad. Due to the great influence of photos, people discovered the beauty of Xiandu and began to develop tourism. With this photo of Wu, photographers from all over the world have come to Lishui and Jinyun. Now Xiandu has developed into a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The cow that accidentally broke into Wu's sight was keenly captured by the camera, which brought vivid interest to the photo. What is the life of the hero in the photo now? As soon as we passed the fixed-step bridge in the photo, we met Ji Hanming, a villager in Banyan Village. 19 years ago, inspired by this photo, he built a pavilion for tourists to take photos at the place where Wu took photos, and began to develop and contract this scenic spot, which has now become a famous wedding photography base in Lishui. Because a photo makes this place a famous tourist attraction, Ji Hanming always makes an exception and asks tourists to bring cameras without admission. This is also a trick for him to manage the scenic spot. At first glance, the scenery of Lishui seems ordinary, neither as steep and strange as Huangshan nor as graceful as Guilin's mountains and rivers. But her well-preserved natural scenery, rich posture and unpredictable scenery have attracted the attention of many film and television directors. In recent years, including the scenic spot operated by Ji Hanming, many well-known film and television dramas have been filmed here one after another. I heard that we were looking for Petunia in Wu's photo. Ji Hanming took the initiative to take us into the banyan village next to the scenic spot. We finally found the famous old man field. Now, Tian and his buffalo have become the big stars in the scenic spot. From planting crops to traveling, from farming to "taking photos", they have earned more income by their business image, and their living conditions have improved significantly compared with those when they relied solely on physical strength to make a living in the past. It can be said that a small photo has greatly changed Tian's life. The mountain is still that mountain, and the water is still that water. When people re-examine this landscape with new eyes, Lishui photography naturally develops, forming a unique regional culture, driving economic development and affecting people's lives. Many photographic works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times, making Lishui famous at home and abroad. Ms Mary, the president of photography without borders in Europe, made a special trip to attend the International Photography Culture Festival held in Lishui in 2004 and served as a judge. Photography without borders is composed of many well-known photographers in Europe, representing the international frontier level of photography art and photography technology. As the current chairman of this international authoritative photography organization, Ms. Mary spoke highly of Lishui's photography works. It is this concern for social reality and people's daily life, combined with beautiful natural scenery, that makes Lishui photography impressive. Faced with so many successful photographs, we can't help but be curious about the creators behind them. How did they make Lishui's photography develop to the present level? Wu, a veteran photographer in Lishui, told us a story that greatly stimulated him. There was only one state-run photo studio in Lishui in the 1970s. 1977, Lishui returned empty-handed, which inspired Wu's unyielding character. These young photographers are the eight great photographers who were later called "Eight donkey kong" in Lishui. As soon as the "Eight donkey kong" was mentioned, Wu gushed and told us emotionally. Based on Lishui, the Flash Shadow Society has excavated many weighty works from the natural scenery and folk customs on both sides of the Oujiang River. And even if it is a familiar theme in life, its shooting process is by no means easy. This is one of Wu Pin's early works, Paipai, which won the grand prize. There is a thrilling story behind this photo. When the Flash-forward Club was first established in the early 1980s, the conditions were quite difficult, and bicycles were almost the only means of transportation when going out for sightseeing. At that time, Lishui was almost everywhere with the footprints of the flash-forward bicycle army, among which Oujiang attracted their attention the most. Speaking of photography in Oujiang, we have to mention a famous photographer, Chu Xiaoqing. Over the years, he has been persistently aiming at the same theme-Oujiang River. It can be said that it was Chu Xiaoqing's insistence that created the tradition of filming the sail shadow of Oujiang River in Lishui. So, what caused Chu Xiaoqing to be almost obsessed with the Oujiang River? Oujiang River is the mother river of Lishui, with beautiful curves and rich levels, which is very attractive to creation. Chu Xiaoqing devoted deep feelings to the small white sail swaying on the Oujiang River more than ten years ago. He once held a personal photography exhibition with the theme of "Sailing in the Oujiang River", and beautiful photos recorded the silhouette of an era in the Oujiang River Basin. This group of photos, with the theme of "Sailing in the Oujiang River", can be called Chu Xiaoqing's masterpiece. Speaking of the creative process at that time, Chu Xiaoqing still remembers it. In fact, what really fascinated Chu Xiaoqing was the sailboat on the Oujiang River. In his view, sailing on the Oujiang River has become a spiritual symbol. In recent years, with the increasing development of highway traffic, once busy sailboats gradually withdrew from Oujiang River, which made Chu Xiaoqing deeply regret. In order to keep the eternal beauty of "the sail shadow of Oujiang River" under the lens of early Xiaoqing, the local tourism department specially arranged a tourism project to reproduce the sailboats of Oujiang River in Yunhe County, Lishui City, and specially organized a fisherman girl to wear traditional costumes as a model for tourists to take pictures. This photo, which once appeared in the special issue of the United Nations, was captured by a foreign photographer on this pier in Yunhe County when he came to Lishui. Shooting "Aerial Shadow on Oujiang River" has become an important collective creative activity in every Lishui International Photography Festival. Driven by "Eight donkey kong" such as Wu and Chu Xiaoqing, Lishui has formed a huge photography group with thousands of people. At present, Lishui has more than 70 national photographers and nearly 200 provincial photographers, which is unique among prefecture-level cities in China. On the third day of our interview, early in the morning, Wu excitedly dragged us to the Oujiang River, because the dam storage project can make the Oujiang River flood in the dry season and take a rare and beautiful view. When we came to the river, hundreds of photographers had gathered on the dam. Behind the huge professional photography group in Lishui are these wider photographers who come from all walks of life in Lishui. In Lishui Power System Photography Exhibition, we saw many wonderful photos reflecting the power industry, and the photographers of the photos were all ordinary employees of the power system. City hospitals always have their own photographers to follow them when they go to the countryside for free clinics. They use cameras to record their work and life. Photography has become a part of Lishui people's life. In Lishui City, there are large and small 12 photography bases for many photographers to create. These beautiful photos were taken here by Mao Jinjun, the founder of Taohuayuan Photography Base in Songyang County. This is a group of photos taken by Wu Hemao when he entered the photography base more than ten years ago. In the photo, the villagers selling radishes on the roadside are the villagers in Radish Village, Sidu Township, Songyang County. At that time, the villagers in Radish Village carried baskets of radishes down the mountain with their hands. After many inquiries, we finally found the old lady selling radishes in the photo. This rural grandmother, who has hardly left home, has become a "big star" because of this photo. At that time, because of the inconvenient transportation, the villagers living in the deep mountains encountered the problem of selling radishes, so Wu Hemao marched to make an exhibition of these photos in Lishui. Since then, the radish village in Sidu Township has become famous. Now, villagers don't need to carry radishes down the mountain to sell them. Customers should not only take the initiative to go up the mountain to purchase, but also book in advance. Just as we were about to finish the interview with Sidu Township, we accidentally found that the township government was holding a photo exhibition of farmers. Photography has changed the radish village, and the villagers have fallen in love with photography and started to express their increasingly affluent life with lenses. On the seventh day of the interview, Wu told us that in Yunhe County, which is dozens of kilometers away from Radish Village, a unique wedding of She nationality is being held. We immediately rushed to the wedding scene and captured many unique wedding custom scenes. At the end of the wedding, we learned that it was not a real wedding, but a tourism project organized by the local tourism department, which reproduced the wedding customs of the She nationality. This unique and precious folk custom has become a wonderful creative material for photographers. Ms. Mary believes that photography in Lishui, like photography in the world, has two elements closest to human beings, nature and life, which are the important reasons for Lishui's success. With the frequent holding of China Photography Festival and International Photography Art Exhibition in Lishui, more and more domestic and foreign photographers have entered this Xiushan Lishui. Under the photographer's lens, man and nature, art and life are integrated. The photography art that Lishui has achieved is also profoundly affecting the development of Lishui and changing the fate of Lishui people.
