Seven kinds of Buddha cards

There are many ways to classify Buddha cards. Starting with the material of Buddha cards, we will subdivide seven categories of Buddha cards for everyone.

1. Pink card:

That is, the master crushed and mixed the incense ashes, wall soil and temple soil of his temple, and then pressed them into Buddha cards according to the master's requirements.

Typical representatives are: worshipping the emperor, masked Buddha, etc.

Some masters will add their own hair, broken scripture ashes, or cassock ashes, because these are the personal relics of the masters, and people have always felt that they have mysterious power since ancient times!

2. Clay brand:

The main material is temple soil, mixed with different materials from different masters, and fired into a hard Buddha card. The difference between this category and the pink brand lies in its high hardness, non-friability and easy preservation, but the process is slightly complicated.

Typical representatives are: Nanpaya (Queen Buddha), Songkou Buddha, Walking Buddha and Early Kunping.

3. Pollen raw wood pill powder card:

Buddha's cards made of this material mainly come from the pollen, stems and herbs of plants with aura that Thai people believe in, or some ancient wood (some of which were struck by lightning) and are ground into powder. There are many kinds of Buddhist cards made of this material, which are very different according to the inheritance of Buddhism that each master believes in.

This "bay" is a plant in the deep mountains. Flowers bloom only once every three years and only appear in the mountains. It is hard to find. This kind of flower has a strong peach blossom effect. Thais believe that this sacred object can be used without turning on the light, just like a one-eyed coconut. )

Typical representative: sacred objects made by master Azamona.

4. Metal plate:

As the name implies, this kind of Buddha cards are made of various metals: gold, silver, copper, lead, temple bowls, bronze bells and so on. Or we often say that Jiubao Band Copper, Abaga Alloy and Li San are mixtures of these metals. This kind of Buddha card has high requirements for mold opening, complicated procedures and very high cost each time. Its characteristic is that it can be preserved for a long time and is not fragile.

Typical representatives: the statue of the monk himself, the pharmacist Buddha, the hidden face Buddha (must fight), the elephant god, the four gods and so on.

5. Porcelain brand:

The front of this kind of Buddha card is a portrait or photo of a porcelain seal master, and the materials used on the back are very different. Each master used different materials, such as pollen, incense ashes, temple soil, and some inlaid gems, on which the master's cassock was attached. Almost every monk has his own porcelain face card. Shan Xinhui chooses the porcelain face card of his favorite master, so that he can always remember the master's teachings and clearly convey to the outside world who he followed.

Typical representative: the image of the monk himself

6. Crown orchids:

(This pronunciation is Thai? ) transliteration

It contains many kinds, but in fact there are great differences. Its real meaning is a magical sacred object.

For example, some sacred objects that are not Buddha's patterns (this is the key to the difference), such as elephant tubes, shells, beads, magic knives, lions, monkeys, etc., can all be classified as crown orchids.

7. Domino:

So dominoes are Buddha cards made of animal bones, which is incredible. There are many such hidden cards (generally speaking, bone Buddha cards have strong ability to attach spirits), and they are made of human bones.

Such as Bing Ling and Da Ling.

But it doesn't mean that the cards of bone Buddha are all hidden cards, and there are also real cards:

Master Long Potian's Paigman Powdered Kunping, Luang Phor Pinak Fuxing and Azan Bingkun Pingping.
