RPA project of Industrial Bank was selected as "202 1 Financial Technology and Digital Transformation and Innovation Achievements"

Recently, at the 5th China Financial Technology Innovation Conference and the 20021Annual Financial Technology and Digital Transformation Innovation Conference jointly organized by China Communication Research Institute, Tsinghua University China Financial Research Center and Qiushi Media, the golden snail process robot launched by Industrial Bank and its subsidiary Industrial Digital Financial Services Co., Ltd. was selected as "202655" for its many innovative applications and rich cases in RPA digital employees/ultra-automation.

This selection mainly focuses on the outstanding innovation achievements made by financial institutions, technology enterprises, venture capital incubators and other institutions in financial technology and digital transformation, sets advanced models and industry benchmarks, further plays a leading role in demonstration, and promotes the healthy development of China's financial technology ecology and industry. The selection of Jintian snail process robot this time is a high recognition of the achievements of Industrial Bank's scientific and technological application and development.

Robot process automation is an automation technology with the development of digital economy and the wave of enterprise digitalization. It helps to complete high-intensity work by simulating the interaction between people and computers, and becomes a virtual digital labor force. From 2065438 to September 2007, Industrial Bank explored the introduction of RPA technology, which was identified as one of the eight technical directions of financial technology, and built a virtual labor platform with RPA as the main technology-Jintian snail process robot platform, actively building an ecosystem for learning and applying RPA throughout the bank.

At present, more than 300 processes have been launched on Jintianluo process robot platform, and the number of deployed robots exceeds 1200, covering 14 head office departments, all branches (45 branches) at home and abroad, 6 subsidiaries and more than 10 external customers, which are applied to three major business lines of retail finance, corporate finance, interbank finance and financial markets, and As the first financial institution to apply RPA, RPA of Industrial Bank is at the leading level in scene coverage, number of robots, technology application management and innovation.

At present, Industrial Bank's process robots can save more than 500,000 working hours every year, and the number of alternative business transactions exceeds 30 million, providing "digital employees" service for nearly 10% of the employees of the whole bank, freeing valuable human resources from tedious and boring operation, especially in helping customers to market, investing in intelligent transactions, improving customer experience, reducing burdens and increasing efficiency at the grassroots level, and controlling risk compliance.

At the same time, Industrial Bank actively fulfilled its social responsibilities and continued to export advanced technology. At present, RPA technical services have been provided to more than ten small and medium-sized banks, non-bank institutions and government departments to help the digital transformation of the industry.

In the next step, Industrial Bank will further apply artificial intelligence technology combined with RPA technology, empower business through RaaS (Robot as a Service), integrate digital employees and business personnel to reshape the process, realize end-to-end super automation, strengthen technology empowerment and accelerate digital transformation.
