It's not a modern Yu opera, it's a Yu opera. There is a difference between the two.

One, the nature of the different

Influence

Mei Lanfang's overseas Peking Opera performances in 1919-1935 eliminated the prejudice of the West against Chinese theater and even Chinese people at that time, promoted the spread of Chinese Peking Opera overseas, and enhanced cultural exchanges between the East and the West. Chinese Peking Opera, a treasure of oriental art, shone brightly on the world theater stage.
