What is deconstruction translation theory?

Deconstruction translation theory is a special translation theory under the influence of deconstruction.

Deconstruction translation theory occupies a unique position in translation theory research. It emphasizes dispelling the traditional concept of translation faithfulness, highlights the translator's central position, and opens up a new horizon for contemporary translation studies. On the one hand, deconstructionists represented by Derrida study translation at the philosophical level. Most of them study philosophy from the perspective of language, and regard translation as a place of differences between research and practice, thus breaking the closure of structural model translation research. On the other hand, under the influence of deconstruction, a group of translation theorists have developed new translation ideas and viewpoints, explored translation problems and strategies from the perspective of politics and power through deconstruction, and resisted all kinds of hegemony in society. Among them, Venuti, Robinson, spivak, Ninangana, Simon and others are all famous scholars.
