How is blue and white porcelain made?

First, knead the mud. The purpose is to empty the bubbles in the mud and make the mud more dense.

Second, make a blank. Blanking is to make roughly corresponding blanks according to the final design model for later printing, and the traditional process is mostly done by manual drawing of blanks.

Third, printing blank. After a certain period of time, the rough blank is naturally dried in the shade.

Fourth, glaze. Porcelain production, if there is no decoration in the container, needs to be glazed first.

Fifth, draw a blank. When the green body with good inner glaze is completed, it can enter the drawing process.

Sixth, mix water.

Seventh, cover the glaze. Cover the porcelain blank with a layer of glaze, which is usually glued, brushed, dipped and blown.

Eighth, burning kiln. The porcelain blanks to be burned are evenly distributed in the kiln, which is called the whole kiln.

Blue-and-white porcelain, also known as white porcelain, is often called blue-and-white porcelain, which is one of the mainstream varieties of China porcelain and belongs to underglaze colored porcelain. Blue-and-white porcelain is made of cobalt ore containing cobalt oxide as raw material, with decorative patterns painted on the ceramic blank and covered with a layer of transparent glaze, which is fired at one time by high temperature reducing flame. Cobalt is blue after firing, which has the characteristics of strong coloring, bright hair color, high firing rate and stable color.
