Does "tradition" hinder "modernization" or promote "modernization"? Will "traditional society" definitely evolve into "present society"?

Modern society originates from traditional society and is different from it. There is both inheritance and development.

So tradition can either promote modernization or hinder the modernization of a country.

I think the key to answering this question is to clarify what is needed for modernization, or the advantages and disadvantages of modern society and modern civilization.

Based on grasping the general direction of the background, we should examine the tradition.

And today is a global society, the wave of globalization is unstoppable, all regions and countries are bound to be involved in it, more or less modernization, branded with modern civilization. Modernization and globalization is a long process, and as for the outcome, it is hard to predict.

Personally, I don't think that all traditional civilizations necessarily evolve into modern societies.
