How to ensure the safety of children's outdoor play activities

Children are lively and active by nature, especially like outdoor games. Outdoor is an open world and a good textbook. Some scholars have pointed out that it is necessary for kindergartens to lead children's interests to the outdoors, so that children can get closer to nature and fully feel the charm of nature and the fun of outdoor activities.

Outdoor activities are a very important part of children's activities. Kindergartens should ensure no less than two hours of outdoor activities every day. Because the child is in the period of growth and development. Their bodies have poor adaptability to the external environment. The development of various organs and systems of the body is not yet mature and perfect. Due to the changes of various natural factors, it is easy to affect health. Therefore, taking outdoor sports activities suitable for children's physiological characteristics can improve children's physical adaptability and disease resistance. So as to enhance physical fitness and promote healthy development of the body. When children take part in outdoor sports activities, they are full of energy and happy. Outdoor sports is one of the main forms of children's physical exercise. Because of its obvious physical exercise effect, parents are very recognized and can play freely, which is welcomed by children. Outdoor sports activities can also cultivate children's will qualities such as courage, firmness and patience, which is an effective way to promote children's psychological development and the foundation for the prosperity of our country and nation. Liang Qichao said, "A strong teenager is a strong country; Young people are rich and the country is rich; The progress of teenagers is the progress of the country. " Children are the future of the country. Without a strong body, how can we realize the great dream of the nation?

But there is a real problem before us, and that is security. The day before yesterday, I listened to the report of Zhao Yuanchang, the first experimental kindergarten in Lijin County, Dongying City, on "making efforts to create traditional games for children". I am very happy and worried when I see the lively appearance of the children on the video. Is it dangerous for children to play games that seem difficult and dangerous? In outdoor activities, running, jumping, drilling, climbing and so on are inevitable. How to ensure that children have enough outdoor activities every day, ensure the safety of children's outdoor activities and reduce the occurrence of safety accidents? On this issue, I humbly asked the directors of some central kindergartens, and combined with my personal experience, I got a little superficial understanding:

I. Safety of venues, equipment and equipment

Nowadays, many kindergartens, especially some country parks, have relatively small venues, and coupled with children's natural love of playing, it is easy to collide in outdoor activities. Then, children compete for equipment, can't take and sort out equipment, and don't understand new equipment. Coupled with children's poor awareness of self-protection, they like to play hard, which are all security risks. How to avoid it? This first requires our teachers to have a good control of the venue. Before the activity begins, teachers must have a position on their own site requirements, and remove all kinds of obstacles in the activity site before the activity begins to ensure the safety of the site. In addition, teachers should always remind children to keep a certain distance in activities. Outdoor equipment should be inspected and maintained regularly. The slope of the slideway should be appropriate, and the side foot should be smooth. The landing site should be paved with mats or bunkers to reduce the falling force when sliding; When installing toys such as rocking chairs and rocking boats, the center of gravity should be low and the rings should be firm; The seesaw is a favorite toy for children. Some seesaws are smooth and beautifully made, but the back of the board is rough and burr. In fact, the two sides on the back of the seesaw are the most important. I found that some children were scratched by the back of the seesaw when they finished it. It's not too serious, but it happens frequently. If both sides of the back are made into slopes or rounded corners, this is impossible. Teachers must take pains to check the safety of various instruments and equipment before activities. In the process of activities, it is necessary to avoid unsafe situations caused by improper use by children. For example, some children throw stilts outdoors as meteor balls; Some children directly knock other children's heads as drums; Other children use the swing as a pedal and step on it with one foot.

Teachers must pay attention to the following issues when delivering outdoor equipment. First of all, whether the equipment you put in can meet the needs of all children, and whether some children have children. If the equipment you put in needs to be enjoyed by several children, you must make clear the rules of activities. When the new equipment is put into use for the first time, it is necessary to clearly explain how to use the equipment and consider all possible safety issues. In addition, teachers must consider whether the equipment is safe before investing in new equipment. In short, we should pay attention to every link of sports equipment to ensure safety.

Second, children's self-protection knowledge.

Self-protection consciousness and methods are the main body of safety problems. It is especially important in outdoor sports activities. Strengthening children's awareness of self-protection requires teachers to educate and edify children for a long time through various channels and methods. Methods of self-protection can be given in various activities. For example, teach children to support the ground with their hands when they accidentally fall; When walking on stilts, the center of gravity moves in time; When avoiding throwing objects, protect your head with both hands. At the same time, in outdoor activities, formulate reasonable routine requirements, gradually develop the habit of children's activities as required, and put an end to unreasonable and unsafe behaviors.

Third, strengthen safety awareness before activities.

Children's safety awareness of outdoor activities can not be formed in one day, which is a long-term process. Let children know what can and can't be done in outdoor activities. Incorporate these outdoor safety knowledge into every link of daily activities. For example, when going down the stairs, always remind your child to walk to the right and not push. Let children be familiar with the teacher's gestures in daily activities and give more positive education. Tell children more stories about safety accidents, let them judge and speculate on these stories, and let them know how to deal with these situations. In addition, in activities, we should pay attention to the development of children's awareness of rules, so that children can form a good habit of obeying rules, so that there will be no confusion in activities, strengthen children's awareness of routine sports activities, and put children's compliance with routines in the summary after activities, so that children can know the importance of obeying routines. Finally, we should strengthen friendly education for children and let them learn to help and share with each other.

In short, outdoor sports activities are the main activities to enhance children's physique and promote health. At the same time, it is also the activity link with the most serious security problems. I think safety accidents can be avoided only if our teaching staff are rigorous, practical, diligent and good at discovering hidden dangers of accidents and keeping the safety alarm ringing.
