Of course, this is not just the case of traditional car companies. In the past year, many new forces have also "died and fled". Due to the delay in mass production of new cars, the sluggish sales of mass production models, the financial crisis and the interruption of investment, some new car-making forces have already experienced great crises.
Of course, as we said before, the biggest rival of the new car-making power is not domestic Tesla, and domestic Tesla has no intention of listing the new car-making power as a competitor. In our opinion, there is only one competitor with the biggest new force to build a car, and that is the traditional domestic automobile manufacturer represented by BYD.
A few days ago, BYD just released BYD's brand-new pure electric medium and large car product-BYD Han EV. Although, as before, BYD also launched a DM hybrid model for BYD Korea, with the support of blade batteries, coupe design and other elements, it is obvious that the pure electric Korean EV model is more concerned and may become the master of this car in the future. Previously, BYD executive Zhao Changjiang also made it clear in unofficial channels such as social media that the longest cruising range of Korean EV will exceed 700km. The disclosure of this news has made the industry more curious about this new car.
Coincidentally, in the past few years, although many traditional manufacturers were launching new energy vehicles, especially pure trams, they basically "replaced oil with electricity" on existing models. From a hierarchical point of view, almost none of the traditional manufacturers' electric vehicles are positioned in the middle and high-end products, especially their own brands, and there are very few vehicles with a height of more than 200,000, which can rarely compete with the new forces of making cars. Now the appearance of this BYD Korean EV is basically positioned as a medium and large pure electric vehicle product. We believe that this car will be equivalent to a new car-making product like Xiaopeng P7 in price. In this way, BYD will form a confrontation with the high-end models of the new forces of making cars.
Regarding BYD's position in China's new energy vehicle market, I believe many netizens know that BYD is the earliest traditional vehicle enterprise in China to transform new energy vehicles. In terms of new energy products, it almost covers the price range of tens of thousands to 200 thousand to 300 thousand yuan. Horizontally, there are both pure electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, so the overall product coverage is still quite large.
From the market point of view, BYD is also a force that cannot be ignored in the domestic new energy vehicle market, which is hard to shake by the new forces. Once the sales of new cars don't go up, it will soon drag down the car companies.
For BYD now, in addition to its strong financial resources, it also has the core technologies of new energy vehicles, especially electric vehicles, such as blade batteries, vehicle battery management, thermal management technology and so on. And BYD itself is a car battery manufacturer. Prior to this, a new company named "Foday" was registered, which basically covered the whole industrial chain of electric vehicles from design to power, basically did not need external procurement of core technologies, and was completely self-sufficient.
Therefore, with the release of BYD Korea EV, BYD has basically achieved full coverage from low-profile to mid-to high-end vehicles in the field of new energy vehicles, and has achieved a head-on confrontation with the new car-making forces in the product line, while BYD has relatively strong capital and technical strength, so the traditional car companies represented by BYD will become the first disaster for the new car-making forces in the future!
