Abstract: Local culture is an important teaching resource for art teaching in primary schools. In primary school art teaching, teachers can make use of local cultural resources, guide students to determine comprehensive art practice activities in connection with local cultural reality, learn and use local art cultural resources in cultural practice activities, and learn local art culture through architecture, painting, paper-cutting and handicrafts with local characteristics, so as to improve students' art accomplishment and art appreciation ability.

Local art culture refers to the traditional art culture with a long history and unique characteristics in a specific region, which embodies the ecology, folk customs, traditions and habits of a specific region and still plays a role today, such as architecture, clothing, environment, painting, paper-cutting and handicrafts with local "branding". Primary school local cultural resources mainly include local art education resources.

First, the content of comprehensive practical activities of local art in primary schools

The comprehensive practice of local art refers to the inquiry activities of students learning local art resources under the guidance of teachers. The comprehensive practical activities of local art make use of local art resources to cultivate students' innovative spirit, organizational planning ability, practical ability and lifelong learning ability, mainly including comprehensive practical activities with the theme of local art and culture. With the local art and culture corresponding to the school as the background, teachers integrate resources (including all kinds of knowledge, skills, experience, wisdom, emotion and other factors) with local cultural characteristics and meet the corresponding requirements of art courses, and guide students to carry out comprehensive practical research activities on art with the themes of architecture, clothing, environment, painting, paper-cutting, science and technology. Infiltrating art education with local characteristics, paying attention to the comprehensiveness and diversity of courses, allowing students to strengthen their experience and understanding of learning processes and methods in the process of autonomy, inquiry and cooperation, consciously and boldly using art media and methods to express their thoughts and feelings, learning to learn to learn, improving their individuality, cultivating their imagination and practical inquiry ability, and paying attention to students' personalized education and comprehensive learning have become the basic trends in constructing the curriculum structure of basic education. In the process of research and practice, based on the purpose of learning and improving, based on the school situation, based on the cultivation of students' autonomous learning and comprehensive ability, we explored and tried new learning methods suitable for students, initially formed certain practices and achieved excellent results. Secondly, in the art teaching activities, on the basis of teaching the learning content stipulated in the curriculum, we have initially formed the operating mechanism of the school-based art comprehensive practical research activity curriculum according to the conditions, characteristics and exploitable resources of our hometown and school, and combined the prescribed curriculum learning with the utilization of local art resources. Thirdly, in the process of utilizing local art resources, a series teaching system of school art comprehensive practice activities is established. Thirdly, on the basis of literature review, through observation, investigation and consultation, an effective scheme for the application and evaluation of the teaching mode of "comprehensive practical research learning with local art and culture as the theme" is formulated, and it is constantly summarized and demonstrated. After it is considered feasible in theory, it is put into experimental verification. The team agreed to design the project research implementation plan. On the basis of extensive collection and reading by the members of the research group, we held an exchange meeting by using teaching and research activities. The teachers of the research group combined their own educational monographs, magazines and articles to exchange reading experiences and gains, which prepared us for theoretical knowledge and ideological understanding. Actively make a research plan, do a good job in planning the research, improve the understanding of the importance of educational research and teaching method exploration under the guidance of the basic concepts of the new art curriculum standards, and initially construct the research model, basic framework and effective operation process of "comprehensive practical research activities with the theme of local art and culture". In strict accordance with the project plan, guide students to participate in reading, investigation, visit, painting, production, planning, design, labor, writing and other activities according to the research content, and improve students' comprehensive quality. Fifth, based on "understanding art in a broad cultural context", we should deepen students' experience of art, society and culture, make the course of comprehensive practical research of art highlight its individuality in localization, and look for local resources that can be used as the theme of comprehensive practical research of art. Pay attention to the process of students' independent study of art, and improve students' keen sensitivity and high appreciation of the surrounding life, environment and works of art. Strengthen the comprehensiveness and exploration of learning activities, cultivate students' comprehensive practical ability of organization, design and planning, encourage them to express their feelings, wishes and thoughts boldly in their own way, and make art teaching really serve students' physical and mental development. In art teaching in primary schools, teachers use local cultural resources, guide students to contact with local cultural reality, determine comprehensive art practice activities, learn and use local art cultural resources in practice, and learn local art culture through architecture, painting, paper-cutting and handicrafts with local characteristics, which can improve students' art literacy and art appreciation ability.
