Rebuilding China's humanism, which is suitable for the trend of the times, should be a top priority, which is related to the national destiny. I visited the coastal development zone. Frankly speaking, our cultural atmosphere and taste are not better than those in the west, or even worse in some aspects. There is Christian civilization in the west, which is a traditional culture with a long history and permeates in many aspects. Some people equate religion with superstition, which is the traditional view of medieval religion. Now the Christian reformation has changed a lot. Many people in the United States regard it as a traditional culture, and its religious color has gradually faded.

We should speak out, remind the society and the government, and do our best to rebuild.

Second, correctly treat the relationship between modernization and traditional culture.

There is an illusion in society that traditional culture and modernity are diametrically opposed. Now the situation has obviously changed, and the voice of advocating traditional culture is getting louder and louder, but it is necessary to understand the relationship between them correctly.

At the beginning of the Revolution of 1911, Yan Fu always talked about "using Chinese style and western style", but he disagreed. He believes that "body" and "use" are connected. There is no gap between traditional culture and modern culture that the whole party can't cross. In the process of modernization in any country, most traditional cultures are preserved. Japan and Singapore have developed, but they have preserved their traditional culture well, and China culture has also preserved a lot, because China's ancient traditional culture has been integrated into their national culture. It is smart to use useful things in traditional culture to promote modernization. Cleaning up the sludge and turbid water in the old society does not mean a complete break with traditional culture.

Beijing used to be a famous historical city, but now it has been submerged by steel plate and cement. The old buildings in Paris and Berlin are well preserved. The ancient Latin quarter of France remains the same today. The demolition of old buildings in China is really a matter of national cultural accomplishment and spiritual realm.

It's hard to recognize the old appearance when you revisit the West Lake. There are too many illegal buildings around the West Lake, which greatly destroys the original landscape. In Lushan Mountain, Guling has completely changed. Guling Park can't see the original lakes and mountains, only messy houses. This beautiful scenic spot is beyond the reach of a small Lushan Administration. It should be state-level, as strictly managed as national parks in the United States, and no arbitrary destruction is allowed.

Only by advocating the reconstruction of spiritual civilization, carrying forward the fine traditions inherent in China, including those in the period of new democracy and socialist construction, absorbing the excellent elements of western humanism, and combining today's new creations, focusing on oneself and the present can we do better. For a long time, due to prejudice against traditional culture, we cannot correctly inherit the essence of traditional culture.

Thirdly, the diversity and changes of traditional culture.

It has been said by predecessors that traditional culture should not be regarded as absolutely good, nor should it be regarded as absolutely bad. Don't treat it as a simple and pure plate, but see the multi-source and diversity of China culture. Because, geographically speaking, although Chinese culture is a representative mainstream culture, there are also non-mainstream cultures, such as brothers such as Jingchu, Bashu and wuyue. Therefore, when we inherit the essence of traditional culture today, we must never oppose singleness and simplification.

From the source of culture alone, there are many cultures in China. Now we worship the Yellow Emperor and Yan Di. We often regard them as symbols of the origin of the Chinese nation, but we must not exaggerate them too much. No one knows what they really look like. In modern times, the Yellow Emperor was "bombed". During the Xinhai period, there were not only the era of the Yellow Emperor, but also portraits of the Yellow Emperor for revolutionary propaganda. It's not appropriate to deal with it simply and emotionally now. We should think deeply and rationally and study how to deal with the historical and cultural sources more perfectly, so as to enhance the cohesion of the whole Chinese nation, otherwise problems will arise.

China is a multi-ethnic country, and many ethnic groups have their own cultural origins. Moreover, in the process of the development of Chinese nation and culture, the two have infiltrated each other and made their own contributions. We should keep a clear head in the "Yanhuang" craze and "Huaxia" craze and see the negative effects of some simple and one-sided propaganda.

If cultural diversity is emphasized, on the other hand, if Jingchu culture becomes the mainstream of Sinochem culture, China may be very strong and active now. Jingchu culture is different from the Central Plains culture, which is rough and bold, full of romance and rich in imagination. Of course, there are many ghosts and gods in it. Ghosts and gods cannot be regarded as superstitions. They are also an important source of culture and the product of imagination in the communication between human beings and nature. This idea seems absurd, but the purpose is to promote the inclusiveness of China culture, to have a broader mind, and not to "rest on a statue".

When we talk about traditional culture, it seems that the Four Books and Five Classics are traditional culture, which is wrong. Let alone the diversity of ancient culture. It was not until the Han Dynasty that a hundred schools of thought contended that Confucian culture gradually occupied a dominant position. Fourth, treat traditional culture and foreign culture with a detached attitude.

There have been two kinds of one-sided views in history: one is to regard traditional culture as an obstacle to modern culture and hope to completely eliminate it; The other is to worship traditional culture and make it magical.

In the current open trade, the low level of understanding of some local leaders is simply surprising. For example, publicly declared: "Foreign capital is God." Carving Mao Zedong's early calligraphy Lisao on a huge stone wall is very charming. But there are also failures, such as the sedan chair in Chuncheng, which is very shallow and vulgar. What we need is quality goods, not mediocrity. Taiwan Province Province attaches great importance to the inheritance of culture, but under the impact of commodity tide, it tends to be vulgar. On the surface, even the street names are the road of loyalty and filial piety and the road of benevolence, which seems to respect traditional culture and pay attention to traditional morality. In fact, this is ridiculous. Let's talk about filial piety I have a relative in Taiwan Province Province, and we met to visit my uncle's grave. His wife asked me about the custom of sweeping graves in Chinese mainland and the United States, and I said flowers and wreaths would do. It is said that there are also people who burn credit cards. In Taiwan Province Province, after the death of parents, a grand funeral is usually held. You see, the development of science and technology has modernized the funeral.

Of course, these situations also exist in the mainland, but they are not so "special". The so-called "cautious pursuit of the future" is illusory at this point. Traditional culture is extremely commercialized and vulgar, and it has become a bourgeois culture or a pseudo-national culture. In some parts of Taiwan Province Province, mourning has become a profession. A professional mourning lady made a mistake about the deceased. My father died in the funeral home, and my mother was still there, but she cried and said, "My God!" " "The funeral turned into a quarrel, which is not a blasphemy against traditional culture. Of course, there are similar jokes in the mainland. After the death of an old lady, the band actually played "Sister, you go forward boldly". Maybe I have talked too much about negative phenomena, but the purpose is to emphasize that we should treat culture correctly, inherit it on the basis of deep understanding, carry forward the good parts and throw away the dross. Never blindly follow the trend. As soon as the Cultural Revolution was advocated, everything was swept away and all the monuments of the Confucius Temple were interrupted. As soon as we advocate attaching importance to traditional culture, we will simply repeat it with a taste of philistinism. In the process of spiritual civilization construction, we should have a healthy and strong mentality, actively explore the essence of various cultures at home and abroad, make the past serve the present and make foreign things serve China. China is a big country that stands among the nations in the world, and its economy, culture and technology attract worldwide attention. We are no longer "the sick man of East Asia" and "poor and white". Therefore, we should have the same sense of hardship in culture as in economy, politics and diplomacy, have the courage to implement "takenism", and integrate all traditional cultures at all times and all over the world.
