The customs and habits of She nationality

The diet of the She nationality is the same as that of the local Han nationality. The staple rice and sweet potato rice are non-staple foods such as wheat, sorghum, millet, corn, duck feet, pumpkin, potato and taro, such as bamboo shoots, vegetables, wild mushrooms, wild vegetables, fish, meat and eggs. The main features are black rice, Kanye Zongzi and Ciba.

Eat black rice on the third day of the third lunar month. On the Dragon Boat Festival, it is also given as a gift to relatives and friends.

The method of Ciba is: filter and dry the glutinous rice soaked for one day, steam it in a wooden steamer, mash it in a stone mortar and knead it into balls or cakes.
