To put it simply: harmful general solder is toxic because of its low melting point, which contains about 60% lead and 40% tin. Most of the solders on the market are hollow and filled with rosin, so the gas you are talking about is estimated to be volatilized when the rosin in the solder melts during the welding process. The gas volatilized from rosin is also slightly toxic and quite unpleasant. Lead smoke is the most harmful factor in welding. Even lead-free solder contains a certain amount of lead. GBZ2-2002 has a low limit value of lead smoke, which is very toxic and needs protection. Due to the damage of welding process to human body and environment, in Europe, the protection of welding workers and environment has been enforced by legislation, and welding without any protective measures is not allowed. In the ISO 14000 standard, there are clear provisions on the treatment and protection of pollution produced in production links.

Tin contains lead. In the past, there was lead in solder wire, and solder was listed as an occupational hazard post (in the national occupational disease catalogue); Now our general enterprises use lead-free solder wire, the main component is tin, and the CDC measures tin dioxide; It is not in the national occupational disease catalogue. Generally speaking, lead smoke in lead-free process will not exceed the standard, but there are other hazards in solder, such as flux (rosin), which depends on the specific situation. Employees can usually look at what logo this tin plate is issued and what kind it belongs to, so that they can find evidence and ask the enterprise to rectify (they can give their opinions to the internal trade union of the factory). If the prepared tin contains lead, it must be harmful to health. After a long time, they accumulate in the body, which is very harmful to the immune system of the nervous system.

Lead-free solder wire is environmentally friendly, but lead-free solder wire is also harmful to human health. The low lead content of lead-free solder wire is not lead-free. Compared with lead-containing solder wire, lead-free solder wire has less pollution to the environment and human body than lead-containing. The gases produced during welding are toxic, including rosin oil, zinc chloride and other gas vapors.

How to prevent the electric soldering iron solder wire from being toxic;

First of all, when soldering components with soldering iron in PCB factory, ROHS tin wire should be used, and preventive measures should be taken, such as wearing gloves, masks or gas masks, paying attention to ventilation in the workplace, having a good exhaust system, paying attention to cleaning after work, and drinking milk to prevent solder lead poisoning.

1. Rest 1 hour. Rest 15 minutes or so to relieve fatigue because the resistance is the worst when you are tired.

Smoking less and drinking more water can eliminate most harmful substances absorbed during the day.
