Guangzhou International Food Festival, as an annual tourism and catering event in Guangzhou, has attracted a large number of professionals at home and abroad and the general public to participate, which has played a very good role in promoting Chinese food culture, especially Guangzhou's unique food culture, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign tourism and catering circles, stimulating domestic demand, stimulating consumption, promoting Guangzhou's social, economic and tourism development, and enriching citizens' holiday life.

Since 1997, Guangzhou International Food Festival has been hosted by Guangzhou Municipal Government, and its scale and influence have been further expanded. It has gradually formed a famous tourism festival with distinctive local characteristics, more international, extensive, mass, professional and scientific, focusing on "food" and integrating catering, entertainment, commerce and tourism.

The history of holding litchi festival in Conghua to invite guests from all corners of the country can be traced back to 13 years ago. 1July 992 13, the grand opening ceremony of the first litchi festival was held in Liuxi Square, Conghua Street. From 1993 to 1998, six litchi festivals were held in Conghua. A string of red licks brought a string of rich "fruits" to Conghua people. 1999 is a year of record-breaking litchi harvest in Conghua, with an estimated output of over 60,000 tons. At the end of June, Conghua Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government organized a delegation to Hangzhou to exhibit Conghua glutinous rice and litchi. Relevant leaders from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Xiaoshan and Yiwu, heads of relevant departments in Hangzhou, and more than 100 fruit wholesalers from Beijing, Shanghai and East China attended the meeting. In 2000, 2002 and 2003, litchi festivals with different themes were held in Conghua City.

Kites in Weifang, Shandong Province have long been famous in the world. In fact, Guangdong also has the hometown of kites-Yangjiang. As early as the Song Dynasty, Yangjiang had the custom of flying kites on Chongyang. It is said that there was a state official named Wang Gen at that time. He chiseled a "flowing cup pool" on a "fairy palm stone" in Beishan. Every Double Ninth Festival, celebrities from all walks of life are invited to gather on rocks and watch while flying kites. People around them also set up tents on the mountains to watch. "Yangjiang County Records" contains: "On the ninth day, people choose to climb mountains with wine, scholars write poems, and children fly kites." In the Qing dynasty, the scene was even more spectacular. A Qing poet Lin Baoying said: "The pagoda is seven steps north, and the paper owls are staggered." This shows the grand occasion at that time.

There are many kinds of kites in Yangjiang, with exquisite conception and simple style. Traditional kites are also called "angry kites". There are many kinds of kites such as "Hundred Feet" (centipede), "Ganoderma lucidum" and "Cliff Eagle" 10, which are lifelike in the wind. Among them, there is a kind of kite that can be blown up and put in the sky for anyone to watch. It is called "Peng Pai Kite". Cantonese opera is a branch of Cantonese opera, and it is the most popular opera in Guangzhou dialect area, and it is sung in Guangzhou dialect. Cantonese opera is popular in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao and other places, and spread to Southeast Asia and places where Chinese people live in the United States. Cantonese opera was originally the tune of Cantonese opera, and later formed an independent drama. Strong musicality, beautiful tunes, attention to the art of vocal cavity, unique style and local characteristics. Its vocals belong to the "Pihuang" system, which integrates Bangzi, Huang Er, Paiziqu, Xiaoqu and storytelling, and also absorbs folk rap such as Dragon Boat, Nanyin, Muyu, Yue Opera and Banyan. Acrobatics has developed in Guangzhou and occupies an important position in contemporary acrobatics in China. The acrobatic performance in Guangzhou is difficult and thrilling.
