But in Russia, a pair of brown bears are also engaged in "touching the gold captain." What's going on here? Let's briefly restore the incident and the reason why its brown bear "robbed the tomb".

According to the local police investigation, the "grave robber" is also a brown bear. Different from the above two brown bears, this brown bear was shot by an ambush when he returned to the cemetery to prepare for "grave robbery".

Why are brown bears addicted to grave robbery? Grave robbers rob graves for funerary objects, but these funerary objects are worthless in the eyes of brown bears. On the contrary, the buried person is "valuable" to the brown bear.

First of all, as a carnivore, brown bears have a very diverse diet, and there is almost nothing they don't eat. Whether it is fresh meat, plants or fruits, they are all in their recipes, even carrion, and brown bears will not let go. Therefore, there are actually two reasons why brown bears go to the cemetery: first, they are attracted by the tributes placed by people; Second, attracted by the buried people.

Secondly, some friends will say: cremation is popular now, where did you get the remains? Indeed, at present, both rural and urban areas in China have basically implemented comprehensive cremation. But unlike Russia, in ancient times, Russia mainly used cremation, but after the introduction of Christianity, it was changed to burial. Although cremation is practiced in all cities in Russia with the development of the times, burial is still the main way in rural areas and small towns.

Brown bear is an animal with a keen sense of smell. Among the known animals, the brown bear is considered to have the best sense of smell in the world, because its number of olfactory cells is three times that of hounds and 2000 times that of humans. The reason why brown bears rob graves in Russia is that burial is still carried out in rural areas of Russia. As a scavenger, brown bears will be attracted by the smell of carrion. Therefore, brown bears don't like to rob graves, but they like to eat meat. Their keen sense of smell also gives a "lesson" to those who are too lazy to dig graves deeper.
