Suzhou has preserved the old appearance of streets and lanes. Which street is the most complete?
Pingjiang Road is a historical old street in Suzhou and a path along the river, with a total length of about 1.6 km. It is the most complete preserved area of Suzhou ancient city so far, and it can be called the epitome of the ancient city.
There are alleys such as Suspension Bridge Lane, Daru Lane, Zhongzhangjia Lane and Daxinqiao Lane on the east and west sides, especially there are many water lanes in the east, which are parallel to the river street and have the characteristics of Jiangnan Watertown.
The block retains the old appearance of the streets and lanes, and even the transformed bars, souvenir shops and cafes are inconspicuous and look like residential houses. Pingjiang Road is a representative street in Suzhou, which attracts many tourists every year.
