A significant portion of war games have a background that has been chosen to be World War II. This war was a wide-ranging one, with all sorts of new weapons, so there is quite a lot of room to maneuver when it comes to game development.

Call of Duty 2

Call of Duty 2 is a war game set in World War II, where players can choose their favorite battles among those of the Allies and the Soviets.

In the game, the plot is set up exactly according to history, with the Soviet Winter War, the Allied Normandy landings, and the Allied North African campaigns all on display in this game.

Call of Duty has come out in many installments, and this is the only one that is my favorite.

The game is set during the Anti-Fascist War, with the default time period being 1936-1948, and if the war is not over it will extend the combat period until the end of the war.

The Normandy landings, the Winter Offensive, and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima may all be present in the game.

Medal of Honor: Joint Assault

This game, set in Europe and North Africa during World War II, shapes a distinctive amusement experience that not only blends elements of sneak attack, guerrilla warfare and sabotage, but also demands more demanding tactical training from the player.

It's worth noting that the game has been dubbed by gamers as one of the leading home-view shooters.

War Thunder

This game is a Russian-developed online game of professional vehicle-based warfare, set against the backdrop of the Second World War and the Cold War, and offers a highly detailed and personalized aviation experience that allows players to fly hundreds of aircraft types, dozens of upgradable weapons, and flight skills that can be honed and improved for each mission.　

The new land battle content allows players to experience the thrill of driving a tank on the battlefield, which includes stronghold scrambling, capturing bases, calling in artillery, and air support gameplay, for an all-encompassing three-dimensional battlefield and the strongest immersion in war.
