Examples of Deductive Reasoning Analysis in Criminal Investigation Cases

Deductive reasoning is from the general premise, through the derivation, or "deduction", to arrive at specific statements or individual conclusions. For example, in the criminal investigation of the case of arson after murder and then faked self-immolation by fire, as long as it is burned to death by fire, the respiratory system will have a large amount of black smoke, while the body burned in the fire, the respiratory system will not change color. And investigators will be able to use the major premise, the minor premise is that the case in the deceased respiratory tract and no abnormality, then launch the conclusion: not self-immolation, but the death of the body was burned.
