A deck of 48 cards*** is divided into 12 months, 4 cards per month, and from January to December they are Pine, Plum Blossom, Cherry Blossom, Orchid Grass, Peony, Red Branch, Chrysanthemum, Maple, Sycamore, and Rain
January is divided into a light card, with a crane and the sun, and a red strip of paper (the word "short" is derived from the Japanese word "haiku", a famous form of Japanese literature, and it's written on this type of paper). Note that this note has writing on it.
The other two are ordinary pine trees.
