Qingdao Split Woods Yard Renovation and Upgrading!

On August 1, Qingdao Municipal Natural Resources and Planning Bureau newly released the "Pre-approval Public Notice of Beijing Road Peripheral Enclosed Area (Splitwood Courtyard Phase II) Protection and Renewal Project".

According to the latest plan, the construction site of the Cleft Courtyard Phase II Protection and Renewal Project is located in Shinan District, Qingdao, west of Zhongshan Road, north of Beijing Road, south of Jinan Road, east of Hebei Road, and will be constructed by Qingdao Haiming Urban Development Co.

The public notice describes that in order to improve the quality of the city and promote the revitalization and utilization of historical buildings, the government of Shinan District intends to implement the protection and renewal of the Zhongshan Road area.

The area, except for No. 25 Beijing Road (newly discovered immovable cultural relics), No. 9 Beijing Road (district-level cultural relics protection unit), No. 208-210 Zhongshan Road (general building), and No. 212 Zhongshan Road (general building), the rest of the building is a traditional style building (Type II protection).

According to the Guidelines for the Protection of Cultural Relics and Monuments in China, the Technical Guidelines for the Protection of Historical Buildings and Traditional Landscape Buildings in Qingdao, and the Protection Plan for Sifang Road Historical and Cultural District, the government of Shinan District organized the preparation of the protection and renewal plan for the project, which has passed the expert review. The Administrative Approval Service Bureau of Shinan District and Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development agreed to implement the protection and renewal of the project. The project is positioned as "the most Qingdao, the most fashionable Qingdao-style life experience area and consumption hub", and after the implementation of the project, it will introduce the functions of consumption and leisure, culture and tourism experience, and realize the revitalization and utilization of the historical buildings.
