In MIG arc welding, wire feeding welding will cause uneven changes, which will affect the welding quality; When the polar arc does not melt, the wire feeding wire will melt unevenly or even intermittently, thus affecting the welding shape and joint quality. Therefore, uniform and stable wire feeding in arc welding is an important condition to ensure quality.

This graduation project is to study the drive control system of wire feeding motor in MIG gas shielded welding, and adopt slow arc wire starting to improve the wire feeding speed on the basis of wire starting parameters. When decaying, the wire feeding speed of the first land arc, followed by immediately stopping the wire feeding of the land arc. Its system meets the performance requirements of MIG arc welding with gas protection requirements.

Based on the research of PWM control circuit and SG3525A, this paper designs the hardware structure of wire feeding. The welding wire structure is mainly composed of wire feeding circuit, driving circuit, wire feeding motor control circuit, linear processing circuit and braking circuit. Draw the related circuits with Protel software. In this paper, the closed-loop feedback control circuit is realized, which stabilizes the accuracy of welding wire and improves the quality of welding seam.
