What is "foolish filial piety"?

In the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a son who was beaten by his father so badly that his hands and feet were broken, but he still did not resist. This kind of filial piety is called "foolish filial piety". "Foolish filial piety" means "obedience", or blind obedience, or the result of always nodding no matter what. Unfortunately, there are many elements of "foolish filial piety" and blind obedience in the "filial piety" advocated by the Chinese tradition. When a father steals a sheep and breaks the law, the son still has to do so without distinguishing between right and wrong, in order to maintain the high power of "father and son". To maintain the power relationship between father and son, the son has to hide the crime for his father. The daughter finds a lover, but because she does not dare to disobey her father's order, she marries someone she does not like, causing her lover to fall ill and die. This is how "a hundred filial piety is not as good as one 'obedience'". Although a child has been nurtured by his parents and has the duty to take care of and love them, it does not mean that he has to give his parents all the choices in his life for nothing, or that he has to be like a robot obeying orders in everything he does. The first thing you need to do is to take your lover's wife as your first priority, and then you're in love.

Too much filial piety, and putting one's wife or lover first in all matters

Foolish husbands put their husbands or lovers first in all matters

Foolish women

Foolish filial piety means "obeying one's parents blindly.

Example: Both parents are wrong

But because of the reason of "filial piety" to cover up everything to put parents first, no blind everything to put parents first, also stupid feelings no also!

Foolish filial piety: refers to the children for the left to obey their parents, knowing that it is not good, is the wrong thing. The first thing you need to do is to get your hands on a new car, and you'll be able to do it. For example, marrying someone they don't like, breaking the law or violating etiquette. All for the left parent's heart to do. Since ancient times, China has been male dominated. The so-called "male dominance" is the most important thing for women. So there is no such thing as "putting your wife or lover first". But apart from Zuo En Xiao, there is something called "Foolish Loyalty" which means putting the Emperor and the Monarch first in everything and not saying anything even if you know it's wrong. But because of the saying "Foolish Loyalty", which is related to the saying "A ruler who wants his subjects to die cannot help but die", it makes foolish loyalty a matter of course. This makes foolish loyalty a matter of course.
