What's the difference between distance education and on-site education?

Distance education is a relatively new way of continuing education through network teaching. On-site education is a traditional education, and students need to attend classes at designated places within a set time. Although these two forms of education can improve people's academic qualifications in society, there are great differences between them.

Difference 1:

The teaching form is different. Distance education is conducted through the Internet. Students who participate in distance education don't need to go to the classroom to attend classes, but only need to have a computer with internet access to participate in learning. On-site education generally adopts face-to-face teaching, and students need to attend classes at designated places.

Difference 2:

The study time is different. The study time of distance education is very free. As long as students want to study, they can log on to the learning platform to attend classes at any time. However, the study time of field education is generally fixed, and students need to attend the study at the designated place within the specified time.

Difference three

The place of study is different. Distance education has no fixed learning place, because it is taught through the Internet, so students can take part in learning anywhere as long as they have a computer with Internet access. On-site education has a fixed place, and students who participate in the study need to attend classes in designated learning centers or classrooms.
