Wet cotton branches with normal saline or boiled water, clean the catheter near the catheter mouth for about one inch (2.5 cm), one cotton branch at a time, and throw the dirty cotton branches into the prepared plastic.

Check for scab or abnormal drainage or secretion. If yes, please inform the medical staff to handle it.

Fix the catheter on the inner thigh (female patients) or lower abdomen (male patients) with breathable adhesive tape, and change the adhesive parts every day to prevent skin damage caused by long-term adhesion or catheter compression.
