The Ten Most Classic Folk Music in China

August 25th 10:5 1

In order to spare no effort to publicize and promote national music, the activity of "Selecting Top Ten National Instrumental Music Tracks" was held on August 10, and the top ten tracks with the highest number of votes have been released. They are: 1, Liang Zhu (violin concerto) 2, symphonic poem flowing water (folk music ensemble) 3, Erquan reflecting the moon (erhu and band) 4, the last song (pipa and band) 5, moonlight on the spring river (folk music ensemble) 6, unyielding Su Wu.

Many of the selected songs are well-known classics, such as Two Springs Reflecting the Moon, Moonlit Night on the Spring River and Clouds Chasing the Moon. However, the symphonic poems Running Water and Moon Height are not familiar to the general public. According to Mr. Yu Qiwei, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Music Association, Running Water, Unyielding Su Wu and Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Dynasty were all created by Mr. Peng Xiuwen, a master of Chinese national music.

It is understood that the masses have shown unprecedented enthusiasm for this selection activity. Even though the deadline has arrived, voting is still pouring in from all over the country. Moreover, many people put forward good suggestions for this activity to express their love and persistence in national music. The organizer also said that through this selection activity, the purpose of promoting national music and China traditional culture was initially achieved, and the effect was better than expected. It is also known that the selection of 20 candidate tracks is mainly conducted in Beijing. China folk music has a long history and rich heritage. Selecting 20 candidate tracks from thousands of folk music will inevitably lead to the inability to cover all kinds of tracks in various regions. Moreover, when selecting, the organizers also consider that some tracks will be made into cartoons in the future, and tracks with strong stories are easier to express, while tracks that are too abstract will be abandoned because of poor performance. The judges are mainly composed of members of Beijing Music Association.

Brief introduction of the top ten folk music:

Peng Xiuwen's adaptation of plum blossom three lanes

"Three Lane of Plum Blossom" was originally a guqin song, and "Three Lane" means to play it three times. It is a style of China traditional music, with beautiful and vigorous melody, delicate and elegant.

Yu 'ergao adapted by Peng Xiuwen

Originally a pipa, the music describes the beautiful and magnificent night of the motherland's mountains and rivers to express the passion of loving the motherland.

Adapted from Zhang Dasen, an ancient song from The Saiga (Pipa and Band).

At first, five ditties were developed and combined from the pipa music in China in the late Qing Dynasty. Now, the Pipa Band's "The First Song" is based on a musical biography and quotes the story of "Wen Xi returned to Han".

Peng Xiuwen adapted the ancient song "Moonlit Night on the Spring River" (folk music ensemble)

Formerly known as "Jiang Xun Pipa", it was originally an ancient pipa song, and later it was widely spread on bamboo slips and silk strings. The ten pieces of music are all based on fishing boats, depicting the beautiful scenery of the motherland from different sides.

Er Quan Yue Ying (Erhu and Band) adapted by Peng Xiuwen.

This song is the representative work of China folk artist A Bing. Music not only brings people into a quiet night, but also makes people realize that a blind artist is pouring out his bumpy life and yearning for happiness.

Ren Guang Peng Xiuwen adapted "Cai Yun Chasing the Moon" (folk music ensemble).

Music concentrates the characteristics of Guangdong music, and through the performance of different musical instruments, it vividly depicts the southern scenery and vast and charming scenery with a pentatonic melody full of China ethnic colors.

The unyielding Su Wu (Erhu Concerto) Peng Xiuwen

This music is selected from the ancient historical stories of China. Music, in the form of erhu concerto, shows Su Wu's unswerving love for the motherland through three movements: loneliness in the snow, homesickness and celebrating festivals.

Symphonic poem "Running Water" (Folk Music Ensemble) Peng Xiuwen Music

The work is based on the Guqin song "Running Water" and was conceived and created on 1979. Music vividly describes that the Yangtze River has grown from its source to a river, and finally it has become a surging tide, flowing to the Eastern Sea and Wan Li.

Fantasia of Qin Terracotta Warriors (Folk Music Ensemble) Peng Xiuwen Music

1984 Mr. Peng Xiuwen created the musical image of the unearthed Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses with the theme of Qin servant pit and the historical facts during the reign of Qin Shihuang as the background. The music shows the day of Qin Jun's conquest in three paragraphs.

Liang Zhu (Violin Concerto) He Zhanhao Chen Gang

Butterfly lovers is adapted from China's folk story butterfly lovers, with three representative plots of butterfly lovers's accident-love, anti-marriage and becoming a butterfly as the main content. (Tingge. com)
