When glomerulonephritis, occult nephritis, pyelonephritis, lgA nephropathy, nephrotic syndrome, purpura nephritis, lupus nephritis, gouty nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive nephropathy, etc. For more than three months, the patient's urine and related blood indexes are abnormal, the pathological and imaging manifestations of the kidney are abnormal, or the effective glomerular filtration rate of the kidney is lower than 60%, which is collectively called "chronic nephropathy". If it is not treated in time and effectively, it will lead to the deterioration and progress of the disease. With the extension of the course of disease, patients with chronic kidney disease will develop into chronic renal insufficiency and renal failure, and eventually form uremia. In general, effective intervention and control should be given in the treatment to prevent its further deterioration and progress [1]. As a therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, acupoint application is based on traditional meridian theory and external application of traditional Chinese medicine. Because of its simplicity, cheapness, safety and wide adaptability, it has played an active role in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. After years of clinical exploration, our department has adopted self-made Chinese medicine application to intervene in the treatment of chronic kidney disease, and the effect is quite good. The report is as follows.

Clinical data of 1

* * * Sixty patients with chronic kidney disease (including 48 outpatients and 2 inpatients/kloc-0) admitted to the Department of Nephrology, Enshi Central Hospital from May 2007 to May 2008 were randomly divided into two groups: 30 cases in the traditional Chinese medicine application group and 30 cases in the western medicine routine treatment group. According to the syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine, both groups are kidney-yang deficiency, which accords with the diagnostic criteria of this disease in the Guiding Principles of Clinical Research of New Chinese Medicine [2]. There is no significant difference in sex, age and syndrome differentiation between the two groups (P & gt0.05), which is comparable.

2 treatment methods

2. 1 control group

Routine western medicine treatment: giving high-quality protein-limited, low-fat and low-phosphorus diet, supplementing essential amino acids (Shenbi 'an) and other supporting therapies; And carry out treatments such as improving microcirculation and reducing renal load; Give symptomatic treatment to patients with hypertension, edema, infection, electrolyte disorder and primary disease, such as lowering blood pressure, diuresis, anti-infection, maintaining water-electrolyte balance and treating primary disease. No other traditional Chinese medicine preparations were used during the observation period.

2.2 treatment group

On the basis of the treatment in the control group, traditional Chinese medicines (raw rhubarb, epimedium, asarum, peach kernel, safflower and Daphne genkwa, and ginger juice) were added, and 2-4 patches were applied to acupoints (Shenshu, Erxiu, Mingmen, Guanyuan, Fuliu, etc.) each time. ) dialectical treatment.

The two groups 15 days was 1 course, and there was statistical effect after 3 courses.

2.3 Observation indicators and methods

Evaluation of TCM syndrome indicators (symptoms, tongue, pulse, etc.). ) Record once before and after treatment; The 24-hour urinary protein quantification, urine routine, renal function and glomerular filtration rate were evaluated by integral method, and they were checked once before and after treatment. And observe whether there are allergies and unexpected side effects, record symptoms, probability, duration and analyze the causes and treatment measures.
