Seeking Japanese wabi-sabi songs (pop and traditional both)

Asaki, Yumemishi -镇命歌-しずめうた-

Presumably it's a game song, with a sultry, romantic and poignant style, such as a young girl in a kimono looking misty-eyed at the sky of flying cherry blossoms and praying silently... ...

The 桜のような恋でした -- Hatsune Miku

At first, I thought it was sung by Noto, the same breath that brings out the soft voice, which at first is a shallow, gentle healing, the chorus suddenly ushered in the familiar gorgeous wabi sabi melody, as a cluster of cherry blossoms blossomed in an instant, and the young girl danced and sang in the garden, full of happy expressions! ......

Dusk トンボ

Classical flavor is very strong and wind songs, less exotic ghosts, more Eastern-style gorgeous, cherry blossoms, the ancient capital, kimono girl ...... it all seems to be in the past.

Air No Hana - RAINBOOK

Blowing a breeze with the scent of flower petals, and then the felicitous singing, and then approached the unforgettable cherry blossom gardens, and danced to the melodious tune ......

Hundred love songs- -Takasugi Satomi

This is the song that supposedly resembles the theme song of Painted Skin? Laughing, probably because they don't know that Japanese compositions and flavors are all very similar. It just opens with a beautiful classical piano sound, ushering in a wispy female voice that turns into a formal wabi-sabi flavor. However, the singer does not seem to be well suited for such a gentle song ......

will Hamasaki Ayumi

I would say that many of Hamasaki Ayumi's songs are very much in the wabi sabi flavor, like this one. The beginning is a bit like a cold and astringent Noh arrangement, although the melody gradually speeds up into the climax, but the strong and sultry Japanese flavor is not reduced at all, and the cherry blossoms are still scattered ......

Aoi Bao-Yanawarabae

Rather than a classical style, it is more of an ethnic style, isn't it? The shamisen brings out the singer's fresh and penetrating voice, which is gentle and healing, and gives you a cozy feeling of having to sway in a kimono.

Tomorrow's Song (Orchestra Version) - Alain Dawazoma

I believe Alain Dawazoma's debut song is familiar to everyone, but this version is a stringed vocal version, which has another atmospheric feeling. It's Tibetan plus harmony to be exact.

Marriage - Lee Seonji

This is a Korean song that runs in the wrong style, right? No, the music at the beginning makes you feel so Japanese, Korean wabi-sabi? Maybe you can say so, beautiful atmosphere and sad ......

Butterfly Love Flower - Milk Coffee

This is ...... Chinese wabi sabi? The Chinese version of Noto's Yubari? At first I thought it was her cover of a Japanese anime song, but it turns out it's not, it's an original, and it's rare to find a Chinese song that's so classically beautiful. But it's a strong Japanese classical style.

Yasakisa ga Shizuri and Descending - Yukana

This is a song that heals the soul without losing the classical and beautiful song sung by the voice actor of CC, the popular heroine of Rebel Rurusu. You can't help but marvel at the Japanese compositions and arrangements, the ethereal style of the song brings out the coolness, elegance and sultriness with a strong Japanese flavor, and Yukana's voice is as penetrating and mournful as water, which couldn't be more perfect for this song.

Universal-RIN

RIN is a famous Japanese neo-folk band that incorporates elements of traditional Japanese music into popular tunes. This song was chosen as the ending song for the Japanese anime Seven Samurai. The beginning is intriguing, with a cold, woozy shamisen bringing out a gorgeous instrumental refrain, the female vocals begin, and the climax of the song fades into a romance with a strong wabi-sabi flavor that pushes the glamour to the limit. I can't say I'm flattered by the Japanese soprano, though.

Senbonzakura

This is not the same Senbonzakura from "Shinigami", the wabi-sabi coloring of this Senbonzakura is a bit stronger, and the female vocals tend to be more cathartic, with an elegant and clear style, like bathing in a pink rain.

Miracle Flower

Personally, I think this is the most classical and windy song of Natsunagawa Satomi. In fact, many of Natsukawa's songs are on the ballad side, but this one incorporates wabi-sabi into POP, creating a fresh, elegant but poignant mood. Natsukawa deserves to be recognized as having the most melodious voice that has been rare to find in Japan in the past 50 years, and even though she's an auntie singer, her voice is as pure as a young girl's, and sings with girlish poetic emotion.

Seiryu Legend - Yukana

Hailed as the song of the Queen of Anime CC voice actress, here the singer is more like a princess living in a fairyland forest, the melody is very melodramatic, permeated with the sultry, elegant and cool, which can be seen in Japan how powerful this type of music is.

Star Wing ~ホシヨミ~ - Shifang

The homage music is actually the best way to show the Japanese classical beauty, like this song. Shifon's sister Japanese classical singing is integrated into pop singing to enjoy a refreshed classical beauty. Listening to this song, you have a desire to dance on the waves, as if the sky is covered with stars and the elves take you dancing.

Shichibu Sama - Era

Listening to the name, I can tell that the sub-song is rich in ancient style. I once heard a version by Megumi Hayashibara, but Hayashibara sang it as a nursery rhyme. And Eero's rendition has more of a healing vibe and classical flavor. Eero's voice is as light as yarn, bringing out a hazy and dreamy flavor.

Composed by anime soundtrack master Kaoru Wada and sung by renowned voice actress Fako Kuwashima. Although I don't know what the lyrics are about, I think that Fako Kuwashima sings about the persistence and strength hidden behind the ghostly grudge, and it's as if you see the ghostly maiden standing by the sea, humming this song ......

Waxing Moon's Royal Daughter

This song is oddly chilling, the closest thing to the spooky flavor of Japanese classical music, and the December 's princess hums it like a sob, so poignant it makes you pity her.

Tokyo Niwa - Mibu Komatsu

You'll be surprised how catchy Japanese wabi-sabi is when you hear the crescendo, déjà vu.

Dreams to See -Yanawarabae

Their songs are always so fresh and gentle. This song is a perfect blend of folk, classical and pop.

Color Love Snow

Once you listen to the intro, you can feel its colorful beauty like cherry blossoms drifting away, and the chorus recreates the magnificence of the intro, with the snow of the new spring not yet melted, and with the gorgeous cherry blossoms transformed into a pink rain falling down ......

DENWARIMASU KA- -Satomi Natsukawa

Satomi-san covered an old song in such a touching way! Soft and clear voice, narrating the shyness of a secret love, the chorus voice becomes clear and passionate, singing the once beautiful and sad memories hidden in the heart.

Smile On english Ver. - rin Rin

The girls' song is a perfect fusion of traditional ancient music and modern pop music, not losing the Japanese classical coolness and splendor, but also a fresh and romantic modern flavor. Yet this song is more like a Western waltz fused with Japanese music, like a forlorn woman's eccentric solo dance in forgetfulness.

Sakura Wannabe - The Traveling Girl

Once you hear the title of the song, you can feel the ancient atmosphere before you even hear it. But honestly, the homo singer's vocals are really not that good, but she is the only one who can interpret the flavor of the song. Especially when it comes to the climax of the chorus, you can feel the colorful romance flowing with sad thoughts of love.

そのまで~be as you are--kokia

Have you ever thought of incorporating Celtic folk music into an old Japanese style? KOKIA with its heavenly voice qualities did it. The sun is setting, the mist is thick, and the dream of the idyllic countryside is haunting.

Mountain Zhen--Tanaka Rie Suzumura Kenichi

Intermittent and rhythmic percussion and the sound of gurgling water, bringing out such as frogs in the pool, water droplets of the remaining feelings of elegance of the mood, the soft voice of the female sings, astringent sad cold, rich song in the male voice of the lining pushed to the ghostly romance, the Heian period of the classical atmosphere of the hidden reproduction. The classical flavor of the Heian period is faintly reproduced.

Anoko wa da aare-rain book

Her songs have always had a classical healing flavor, so that your mind back to the basics, feel the Japanese garden to condense the natural beauty of the delicate subtlety and warmth.

First love--Shimaya Hitomi

Warm and pleasant female voice, bring you the atmosphere of Japanese idyllic style, as a ballad that has been sung for a long time, let you remember the first love of the tender feelings.

The 桜 (さくら) CHERRY BLOSSOMS--Jia Pengfang

Finally, this is a beautiful erhu song to the extreme to end. The same erhu, but the Japanese orchestration, playing and arranging has receded the folk vulgarity, replaced by an elegant temperament, as in the lotus pond, to appreciate the ethereal silence.
