What does freedom of mind mean?

In China's ancient thoughts, "heart" represents the mind and spiritual world of emotion, will, consciousness and wisdom.

In ancient society, because the orthodox thought and formal system mainly regarded freedom as a private casual attitude or behavior, freedom became a more rhetorical marginalized word in the traditional social context.
