How to remove the external hexagon nut because it is slippery (round)

Screw slipper cannot be disassembled, whether it is hexagonal or hexagonal, slotted or cross-grooved, there are generally three schemes to take out slipper screws:

1, there is a tool called "broken screw extractor", you can try it;

As shown in the figure below:

2. Drill off the screw of the slipper with an alloy drill bit smaller than the screw of the slipper, and some thin-walled residues will remain around, which can be removed slowly.

3. If something is particularly important, it can also be treated by EDM. If the workpiece is difficult to move, there is a portable EDM machine tool to find.

? After taking out the screw with sliding thread by the above method, the internal thread of the original threaded hole may be damaged:

1. If the damage is slight, the standard faucet with corresponding specifications can still be used normally after passing;

2. If the damage is serious, wire thread insert can be further used for repair if the wall thickness around the threaded hole allows. After using "wire thread insert" to repair, the strength is not affected and may even be greater than the original thread strength, and the original specification bolts are still used. (Note: Please refer to here for the relevant introduction of wire thread insert).
