Why are some traditional crafts in China lost?

Some traditional crafts have been lost in China, mainly due to the lack of inheritors and young people who are interested in these traditional crafts. Although some traditional crafts have a long history, unique craftsmanship and profound cultural heritage, it is difficult for learners to make a living. Young people are more willing to work to earn money and find high-paying jobs than to learn these traditional crafts.
