China's traditional aesthetic thought is based on reality, and its content and form are unified, which has certain practicability. Music art should abide by certain ethical and aesthetic norms. Music emphasizes harmony, such as five tones, six rhythms, seven tones, eight winds and turbidity, size, length, illness, sadness and joy, rigidity and softness.

China's music aesthetics originated from tradition, and the traditional music aesthetics thought had a far-reaching influence on the development of China's music. In modern times, it is useless to stick to tradition. Only by getting rid of its dross, taking its essence and opening up new aesthetic concepts can we meet the needs of the times. Western aesthetics is also a part of world culture. The integration of Chinese and Western aesthetic cultures, based on traditional national music and drawing lessons from the excellent musical methods of China and the West, establishes China's new musical aesthetic thought and enriches the world culture and art.
