Extended data

In the words of Yang Liguo, secretary-general of China University Sports Association, CUBS and CUBA are "two leagues with different levels in the same system".

The essential difference between Cubs and CUBA is that CUBA always puts the purity of amateur sports in the first place. Players must be full-time college students, and professional athletes registered in chinese basketball association are not allowed to participate in the competition.

Cubs opened their doors to professional players registered in chinese basketball association for the first time, and colleges and universities have more room to operate in introducing professional athletes. CBL players and youth team players who are not in conflict with the season time can participate as long as the admission procedures are complete, the age is suitable, and they can provide proof of "studying at school".

The introduction of Super League will play an important role in further improving the competitive level of school basketball, expanding the training channels of high-level basketball players in China and expanding the basketball market in China.
