How is glass made?

The method of making glass is as follows:

1. Prepare silica sand.

2. Add sodium carbonate and calcium oxide into the silica sand.

3. Add other chemicals according to the intended use of the glass.

4. Add chemicals to make the glass reach the ideal color.

5. Put the glass mixture into a heat-resistant crucible or bracket.

6. Melt the mixture into a liquid state.

7. Make the glass melt evenly and remove bubbles.

8. Forming glass melt.

9. Strengthen the glass by heat treatment.
