Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University, formerly known as Jinjiang Motorcycle Training School, was founded in jinjing town, Jinjiang City in 1986 and developed into Fujian Motorcycle Automobile Training School in 1994. In 2002, Quanzhou Zhongying Vocational College was formally established. In 2007, it was renamed Quanzhou Polytechnic Vocational College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
