Who invented the game of "Scissors, Rock and Paper"?
Like Go and Mahjong, "Rock, scissors, cloth" or "guessing boxing" was also invented by China people. According to the book Five Miscellanies written by Xie Zhaozhe of Ming Dynasty, the tradition of guessing boxing can be traced back to the gesture order of Han Dynasty. Before communicating with Asia, there was no record of "stones, scissors and cloth" in the West. Western writers in the late 19th century always thought it was an Asian game when they mentioned it. People in China and South Korea generally call it "stone, scissors and paper", while the Japanese change it to "stone, scissors and paper". This fact implies that "stones, scissors and paper" were introduced to America from Japan in the 19th century.
