What are the schools of Tai Ji Chuan, and what are their advantages and disadvantages?

Sect? The kind that pulls the top of the mountain? It's out of fashion now.

Tai Ji Chuan mainly talks about sects, and one kind of boxing has spread all over the world. Let me briefly introduce it from my personal experience. Please forgive me for not understanding enough.

There are mainly Chen style, Yang style, Sun style, Wu style and Wu style.

Chen Shi: It is closest to the original form of Tai Ji Chuan. Since Tai Chi was originally used as a fighting skill, it naturally requires extremely high movements, and many of them are not suitable for ordinary beginners to practice. Of course, after the evolution, the difficulty of Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan has been reduced, which is basically suitable for the public. The advantage is that it is suitable for friends who are interested in fighting to practice, and the kung fu is fast. The disadvantage is that it requires high physical quality. Nowadays, many modified shelves have greatly reduced their combat skills. If you want to practice fighting, you'd better choose an old-fashioned rack or a two-way gun hammer.

Yang: Personally, I think it is the best one in Tai Ji Chuan. He has low physical requirements and is suitable for any crowd to practice. His health and martial arts have obvious effects, and his movements are neither too big nor too small, which is very consistent with the golden mean. He is the group with the largest number of employees. The disadvantage is that because there are too many schools, it is inevitable that the good and the bad are intermingled, and it is difficult for beginners to judge which master is good at kung fu. Often many people worship the wrong master and can't learn real kung fu.

Wu style: Wu style is soft, that is, to resolve the opponent's attack. But it seems to be too soft, so that people with insufficient skills will attack insufficiently. Its boxing frame is small and exquisite, which is not easy to understand, but it is very suitable for middle-aged and elderly people to practice.

Sun Shi: Because Grandfather was born in Xingyiquan, he must advance and retreat in his movements, which is very close to the number of modern Sanda, and the meaning comes from Shi Yang, so he also absorbed the characteristics of Xian Yi Shi Yang's high skills and Xian Yi's young and old. However, it is suggested that friends who practice fighting should start with Sun Xingyiquan or Bagua Palm. As far as I know, there is no expert in actual combat to practice Sun-style Tai Ji Chuan.

I don't know the details of other factions. All the above viewpoints come from the communication with Wushu peers and the teaching of the master. Please forgive my shortcomings.
