Is there a difference between cleaning the distribution cabinet with ordinary methods and cleaning it with insulation?

There are some shortcomings in traditional cleaning methods, and accidents caused by improper products or construction occur from time to time every year.

1. Manual cleaning

The decontamination effect is not ideal, non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-pressure-resistant, and there is no dynamic and static insulation. Requires power outage operation, which is inefficient.

2. Electrostatic attraction.

Electrostatic precipitation is a kind of dust collection method which uses electrostatic field to ionize gas and make dust particles charged and adsorbed on electrodes. In the strong electric field, air molecules are ionized into positive ions and electrons, and the electrons encounter dust particles in the process of running to the positive electrode, so that the dust particles are adsorbed by the negative electrode to the positive electrode and collected. Of course, through technical innovation in recent years, cathode plate dust removal has also been adopted. It used to be used in coal-fired factories and power stations to collect coal ash and dust in flue gas.

3. Charged chemical cleaning

Although the decontamination effect is good, it is very corrosive. Because it is a chemical reagent, it contains toxic substances harmful to human body. The withstand voltage value is average and the product only has static insulation, and the dynamic insulation is not very high. At the same time, such products are corrosive, which will accelerate the aging of equipment and reduce the service life after use.

3. Wash with charged pure water

Charged pure water cleaning must meet certain conditions. The decontamination effect is general and the safety factor is low. Although pure water is not conductive, its dynamic insulation is very poor. If not handled properly, it is likely to cause casualties.

Therefore, the insulation cleaning of power electrical equipment is different from the previous equipment maintenance methods: first, the equipment is maintained without interruption of operation, so it is called "insulation cleaning"; Second, when the equipment has not broken down, it will actively carry out decontamination and insulation maintenance. Therefore, we can also call insulation cleaning technology "active maintenance" or "active maintenance", which is a preventive maintenance method to ensure safe production and nip in the bud, instead of having to cut off the power supply for maintenance or replace parts after various equipment failures or vicious accidents.
