Which ethnic minority's traditional craft is Silankapu

It is a traditional craft of the Tujia ethnic group.

"Silankap" is a kind of Tujia brocade.

In Tujia language, "Xilan" means cover, "Kapu" means flower, "Xilan Kapu" is the flower cover of Tujia people. People often put the word "Tu" in front of the "flower cover" to indicate the characteristics of the Tujia ethnic group contained in this folk craft.

The flower pavement cover is treasured by the Tujia people as a crystallization of wisdom and skill, and is called the "flower of the Tujia". According to the custom of the Tujia people, when a Tujia girl got married in the past, she had to make a beautiful "Silankapu" on the weaving machine, i.e., Tuhua pavement cover.
