The development of computer has gone through three stages: mainframe, microcomputer and network. For the traditional mainframe, it is usually divided into four generations according to the different electronic components used by computers: electron tubes, transistors, integrated circuits and large-scale VLSI. Microcomputer with microprocessor as the core belongs to the fourth generation computer. Usually, people use microprocessors as symbols to divide microcomputers, such as 286 computers, 386 computers, 486 computers and Pentium computers.
