Advantages and disadvantages of polymer nanomaterials

Advantages: high specific strength, high toughness, easy stress relaxation and creep resistance; Most of them are inert and corrosion-resistant, but they need surface treatment when they are stuck and mixed with polymers. In addition, some polymer materials are easy to absorb ultraviolet, infrared and visible light and degrade.

Disadvantages: Due to its molecular structure, polymers bring some corresponding disadvantages, such as poor aging resistance, limited high-temperature performance, difficult coating on the surface of materials, limited strength, easy stress relaxation and creep.
