Among the top 15 conglomerates in China's branded automobile sales in 2021, SAIC ranked first, with sales of 2,757,000 units, up 8.9% year-on-year; Changan Group ranked second, with sales of 1,755,000 units, up 16.7% year-on-year; Geely Auto ranked third, with sales of 1.328 million units, down 0.6 percent year-on-year growth.

In 2021, the combined sales volume of the top ten enterprise groups in terms of automobile sales volume was 22.621 million units, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year, accounting for 86.1% of the total automobile sales volume, a decrease of 1.8 percentage points from the same period in 2020. Overall, the market concentration of China's automotive industry is high, with CR3 reaching 46.2% and CR5 reaching 63.1%. However, the industry's market concentration declined in 2021, indicating that brand competition in China's automotive industry is becoming increasingly fierce.

Overall, in China's auto brand market, the market pattern is relatively stable. The leading companies are in a solid position, and the industry market concentration is decreasing steadily.
